# Market Radar

News Radar helps you discover memorable reporting about real businesses. It brings sources, place details and a path into token preparation together. Story relevance is not a prediction of virality, token price or business endorsement.

## Read, filter and inspect

Open **News Radar** from the neighborhood or the Market desktop bar. Search and filter by country, category, age and location status. **Newest first** uses original publication dates; **Standouts** emphasizes supported unusual stories, characters, rituals, heritage and community facts.

The reader works as a desktop window or mobile sheet. Open a story to inspect the original source, date and location evidence. Country coverage and story counts vary; source failures can reduce coverage. Scheduled refreshes do not promise complete or instantaneous worldwide reporting.

## English display and original sources

Where translation is ready, headlines and supplied RSS excerpts appear in English. **Show original** lets you inspect the original wording; the source link opens the publisher’s article in its original language. A pending or failed translation remains readable with its status. Machine translation can make mistakes, especially with names and places; use the original source when a detail matters.

The reader summarizes supplied reporting; it does not reproduce every full article or establish an independently verified current business status.

## Images

When a permitted publisher image is available from the feed or article preview, it may appear beside the story. Otherwise, Market uses editorial artwork. An article image can be illustrative or archival: it is not automatically a photograph of the exact branch or proof of the shop’s participation. Missing images are not replaced by invented storefront photographs.

## Source report versus checked location

A **source report** can be readable before its exact Maps listing has been checked. A story with **Location not checked** does not receive invented coordinates or a guessed branch. Exact-branch checks remain separate; only eligible checked places can prefill token preparation.

Before preparing anything, confirm the business, branch, address and current activity. A news story alone does not create launch eligibility or owner authority.

## Save and prepare

**Saved** and **Following** keep Radar choices in the current browser. Clearing storage or changing devices can remove those local choices. Account-saved places in the Citizen workspace are separate.

Where available, a story can start a token draft. Preserve an existing draft before switching. A draft neither creates a token nor secures the business’s consent.

## Prepare an X post

The **Story**, **Short** and **Degen** choices prepare an editable draft with **News Radar on @marketdotpad\_**, the source and a clear community-project status. Edit it in your own voice. **Copy post** and **Review in X** help you publish it yourself; Market does not post automatically. Social engagement and sharing do not earn XP.
