# Project stewardship

A project needs accurate information after its first announcement. Its source, business status, representation and token record should remain understandable as the story changes.

## Publish useful updates

Useful updates add a material fact: a documented opening or relocation, a verified business announcement, a correction to the original source or a meaningful development in the project's story.

Explain what changed, include supporting evidence and make your role clear. A verified representative can publish a Business Story when the eligible project's contribution workflow is available. An independent creator should not speak on the business's behalf.

Repeated promotional slogans, reposts and cosmetic edits do not become useful contributions merely because they are new messages.

## Keep identities distinct

The business's public representative, original token creator, fee recipient and token holders can be different people. State who is responsible for the information being published.

Changing a description or a representative does not silently change an already deployed mint or its fee configuration. Financial changes need their own applicable rules and verifiable record.

## Report corrections

If a place is closed, a branch was misidentified, a source is inaccurate or an authority claim is disputed, provide the exact page and supporting public evidence through the available correction workflow.

## Progress follows accepted results

An accepted material update can earn XP under the published limits. The first Business Story and subsequent updates have different rewards; the same publication is not credited twice. An inaccurate result may later be corrected or withdrawn.
