# Pass status and account recovery

Your entry can be incomplete, submitted or confirmed. Profile access and Genesis approval are related but distinct.

| Status                            | Meaning                              | Your next step                                              |
| --------------------------------- | ------------------------------------ | ----------------------------------------------------------- |
| Reservation incomplete            | A required entry step is unfinished  | Resume the saved form or X checklist                        |
| Reservation submitted / In review | The entry was submitted successfully | Open your profile; Genesis approval is pending              |
| Reservation confirmed             | The Genesis entry has been approved  | Keep your pass and follow the announced opening information |

A downloaded card records its status at the time of download. A card image alone cannot establish a current approval, allocation or achievement.

## Returning to the same account

Your current browser can remember your session. A linked Google or Phantom identity can open the same account through the available sign-in flow. Sign in with an identity already linked to that account; using a different identity does not prove that two accounts belong together. Keep a private recovery file as an additional access method, especially before changing devices or clearing browser data.

## Save your private recovery file

On the Pass page, open **Keep access to this pass** or use **Save private recovery file**. Keep the file in a private place you control.

**Anyone who has the recovery key can access your Market account.** It is separate from your shareable Genesis card. Do not publish the file, put it in a screenshot or send its contents in a public support conversation.

## Restore your pass

1. Open [Restore Citizen Pass](https://marketdotlaunchpad.com/citizenpass?restore=1).
2. Enter the private recovery key from your saved file.
3. Use **Restore my pass**.
4. Continue from the saved step or open the profile if the entry is complete.

If a new recovery key is generated, the previous key stops working. Keep the most recent valid file. Downloading an already available file again does not necessarily generate a new key.

## If access is lost

Try your linked sign-in method and the latest recovery file first. A public username or card image is not enough to restore an account. The interface does not provide a guaranteed way to recover an account after every valid access method is lost.
